Is the answer a 997?

Hi guys

Getting itchy feet!

Recently come from an RS6 v10 to a Quattroporte 4.7a

Problem is it's just a bit of a barge!

Other half has a XC90 for the kids and I have a R55 Clubman for running around

I want something a bit more sporty and am thinking C4S 997.

Only other thing that interests me is F Type and XKR 5.0

Must have are rear seats, good residuals, sporty, coupe

Help!

F-type has no rear seats.
Sounds like rear seats only need to be small if 997 and XKR are on list, so you could add a lotus evora too. Or maybe a Maserati gransport if you liked the QP apart from its size.

XKR is also a barge.

I'd try a C2 or C2S if you want something a bit more nimble. Nothing wrong with the 4wd cars (mine is 4wd). Just think 2wd might give a bit more of what you're after.

I wouldn't call an XKR a barge..its a GT and for covering distances at pace ideal. I agree with you though for a weekend car the 997 would be better. Just be aware of their issues as with most cars, but then you drive a Quattroporte..

Interesting I'm going though similar thoughts.

We have BMW 320d X-drive and R56 Mini Cooper S and I want to add a toy.

Currently torn between DB9 and Griffith.

My biggest fear of the DB9 is that it will be too much of a GT and I will enjoy my Mini more.
My biggest fear of the Griffith is that it will be too harsh / impractical and I will enjoy my Mini more.

The answer for me may be a 997 as well!
