What car for this years staycation travel?! Up to 40K
Discussion
I’ve been in the market for a car for a while now and with everything that’s been going on it’s time to scratch the itch! This has been spurned on by just spending the evening booking cottages in the 4 corners of the UK over the rest of this year and want something that will carry the 3 of us in comfort and luxury. Thing is i know i would probably like to move it on come the end of the year to be able to get something more sports cars orientated.
With that in mind I want to try and limit depreciation as much as possible whilst probably putting around 8K in mileage on. My head & heart are leaning towards a Porsche Macan/Cayenne as its hits all the requirements and I believe will hold their value best. This might also help when I come to part ex for something Porsche related again
SUV style would be my preference but could easily be talked into some worthy estates. Any thoughts/ideas would be very welcome?

E53 look like a nice place to be. As does an E63 clearly but bit pricey for a modern version. Hmmm
Is my thinking about Porsche and being almost depreciation proof valid particularly the Macan? Are there any decent websites/guides for predicting depreciation?
36 years of age and a Bentley. I mean. Why not...
