Fun Daily under 10k

Hey Guys,
Sold my car few weeks ago and can't decide what to get next.
My previous cars were RS3 8v and afterwards W205 C63 but it didn't make sense in keeping an expensive and depreciating asset.
I am currently working from home and once office opens I'll be getting a train due to working in city.
I don't need a car but I want one, as without one I feel kind of naked lol.
I am looking for something under 10k, engine size or age doesn't matter.
Mileage wise I am thinking something up to 100k, as I can work on my own cars the repairs don't bother me.
Been looking at Mk5 R32 Golf, 635d, B8 S5 V8.
Any other suggestions welcome or advice on the cars that I've listed.
Thank You

I like the R32's but for me they're strong money at the moment for what are okay/good cars.

If you want a hot hatch that's a good car that's underrated & therefore sensible money, then I'd say test drive an Astra GTC VXR they're a very good steer a smidge behind a Cup Chassis'd RS Megane but you'll be getting a newer lower mileage fun steer with very sensible running costs.

A very good alternative to the S5 is the 5.5 E500 coupe they're hard to find but the drivetrain is pretty much bulletproof:

The S5's are more plentiful & are a good car but I'd be in my very bias opinion be buying the E500:

I just bought a Volvo C30 T5 R-Design mainly for the 5 cylinder engine. Like a Ford ST underneath so lots of tuning potential but a bit more civilised. Even with my previous car history, I’m quite liking it. Sold my car few weeks ago and can't decide what to get next.

I paid strong £8k for a 1 owner 60k car but it should be pretty resistant to too much depreciation.
It does sound good when pressing on and doesn’t hang around. However civilised and grown up when pottering around.
