Anyone else seen this guy on eBay... he's been going for years. One picture of the car and then details to email someone in the second photo.

Keeps advertising the same cars over and over again.

Not just one account, loads of hijacked accounts as well.

I've just seen something about a WRX STI "barn find" up for bidding, pictures of the car, and in the description it states you're bidding for a wheel bolt, and bidding was up to £4500 at that point. Popped up on Faceache and can't find it now. What happens if you end up paying? It does state in the description what it is, but advertised in a misleading way.

Imagine being told I'll deliver it to you, and a neatly wrapped wheel stud pops through the letterbox eek

It's disappeared since yesterday but had about 1700 vehicles for sale.

I keep seeing the same guy putting up classics, and always for randomly numbered prices, like £3587.66.

Always report when I see, but keep coming back. Ebay doesn't seem to be bothered

Quite obviously not all the same guy laugh

I do wonder why eBay hasn't got some sort of AI review process where it checks every vehicle post for the white box with black text, can't be hard to do.

Something went astray with it's programming a few days ago as the pictures and the descriptions didn't match

Once I got excited to see a particular car advertised before realising it was a scam. Drat!
I have reported a handful to eBay but I can’t be bothered nowadays. They are slow to remove, which makes me think they don’t care. I notice sometimes the bids go to crazy figures hehe

It got to the point where it was making the classics section more us less unusable because it was all fake adverts. I'm surprised it's that hard to automate a filter for it.

It really irritates me, as I like to look at what the low end of the market can be, and filter by auction listings only, to see how tempted I can be to maybe have a cheeky bid on stuff.

Only positive is that these listings are really obvious and easy to spot.

Only after opening though. From the listing it might be at an early stage of the auction so doesn't seem wrong if a £15k car is on £3k bids with 5 days left to run.
