BVRLA guidelines... dent in rear door.
Discussion
Afternoon all,
Some lovely cretin has left my 3 series with a nice dent in the rear door, 2 weeks before end of lease. Been looking at the BVRLA docs and I think it falls within the "not too expensive" category IF it's not on a swage line. £175 if it is.

To me it isn't on the swage line. What do you think?
Thanks

An example from the Audi FS damage guide (other finance companies will vary) has dents listed as follows:
Dented (exceeds 10mm in diameter, no paint damage) £36.00
Dented (Paint damage, regardless of diameter/swage line)
£138.00
From your pics I don’t see any paint damage or that it is near the swage line, so returning with the damage would likely be the lower charge.
Some finance companies also write off any charges under a certain amount, so you may end up paying nothing to return it with this damage.
