Fun turbo daily for under £4k

I've currently got a modified mk6 St and I'm looking for something different. For me a daily is really a weekend car with the odd trip to the office once every other week.

I live in a built up area and there's no nice B roads on my regular travels so with the mk6 it needs to get over 5 grand before the power and sounds really kick in. I'm thinking something turbo for a change but I'm really not sure.

I'm currently waiting for a nice cupra r Bam to appear on the market, I'm also thinking a fun colt czt which a few mods. Im also wanting an ep3 but I guess it's probably not a smart idea since it's more of needing the roads to hit vtec for maximum smiles.

Just curious what the community thinks perhaps there's something out there I've yet to consider.

Focus st If you can handle the interior, failing that a mk5 gti, might get a leggy ed30 for that.

Mk2 Leon cupra will produce the most power per £ as it’s a similar set up to the s3 with the tfsi ko4

Polo gti or Ibiza cupra if you fancy something fiesta sized and turbo.

All the above are good but I'd be buying the 208 GTI, you'll have to haggle & maybe stretch the budget a smidge but it'll be well worth it. A much sweeter steer than the Seat.

MK2 Focus ST. With that engine note and the tuning capabilities if you want more, make it the comfortable winner for me. Just make sure you get the 'block mod' done if not already done.

Mk2 ST is a great car, Megane R26 if you can find one in budget.
