MOT Check - no online history?

I've just done an MOT history check on a car I'm planning to go and have a look at and the online history only goes back to June 2019, ie 2 MOT's.

Obviously I'll question the seller about this, but what possible reasons would there be for this? I'm assuming it may have started life in Northern Ireland - are there any other possible reasons?

How old is the car?

Cars don't require an MOT for the first three years so if its a 2016 reg, 2019 may have been its first MOT

Had it had a private plate on before as it won't show the most done on the car while having the private plate on

OMG how bloody stupid am I. So glad I asked the question here rather than in front of the seller. I normally have brand new cars or sheds, so not used to nearly new.
