I'm Looking for a 4 seater hard top convertible to replace my BMW e93 3 series. Other than the obvious choice of a 4 series convertible with a hardtop, are there any other options which match my requirements?

I'm surprised at the lack of options there are for a 4 seater convertible with a hard top roof, are BMW the only ones in this price/year bracket? (eg. 2018+ / price £20-30k)

Plenty of 4 seater convertibles with soft tops around...

On the lower end of hard tops there's a VW EOS (which stopped making in around 2015 so wanted something newer) and on the upper end a Ferrari California / Portofino which is out of my price range.

Have i missed any?

thanks

bookmarked - I am also a lover of hardtop convertibles - a dying feature it would seem.

Bookmarked as i'd be interesting in hearing any non-BMW choices that might not be on my general radar.

Out of interest why does it have to be folding hardtop?
I just got an eclass and it's brilliant. The softop is excellent and you wouldn't know it wasn't hard top when driving with the roof up.
You do have the security aspect...
But yes only really the 4 series. I looked into them and all the review's suggested the back seats were pretty useless. The Eos has a bad reputation for being lekay....

I just prefer the look, with the roof up it almost looks like a regular car as the roof is body coloured. Personally Not a fan of the looks of a soft roof which is a shame as the eclass looks great with the roof down l.
