Is a 2020 Skoda Karoq a good choice?
Discussion
Hiya,
I'm after a small/medium SUV in order to transport stuff, people, kids, animals etc. I really like the look of a new Skoda Karoq and was wondering if anyone had any reviews about it? I am planning to lease and have found a couple of really good deals on a 1.5 Skoda Karoq Sportline.
Has anyone got one? What are your thoughts on it? Is there any similar competitors that may be better?
Cheers!

Wife has had her karoq se l (on lease) for about 6 weeks.
It's the 1.5 dsg. It's a nice car, drives well, averaging 39mpg car has covered 2k miles so hoping this will improve over time.
A few observations; gearbox can get confused at times although this could be user error as we've not had a dsg before.
Seats are not instantly comfortable, we've both adjusted them and whilst they do not cause discomfort they are not relaxing armchairs. Again this may improve with time.

I've had my MY19 1.5 SEL DSG since new in October 2018
I've had the software update to improve jerkiness which has pretty much eliminated it. Perhaps later cars have different software from the factory.
It's smooth and fairly quiet with a decent ride. It rolls a bit on corners. I find it comfortable (on 18 Wheels) and I specced leather seats which are nice.
The infotainment is not great but audio and Bluetooth connections are good enough for me.
It's easy to spin the front wheels on emerging from junctions...I hate the fitted Bridgestones.
Due to retirement and Covid it's only done 8000 miles and still looks as new.
