Looking for some ideas, my next car is on order but won’t arrive until late September and my previous car is now sold..
Budget £5-7k that won’t lose much, if any value if I sell it on in 4 months.

Estate, 4x4/SUV. Bit of poke would be welcome.
Age doesn’t really matter(new enough to have Bluetooth connection).
Something comfortable to sit in.
I the idea of an old RR but could potentially be expensive.. (could buy from a dealer but paying premium vs what I would get back on any resale)

Other ideas welcome..
Cheers

If you’re going to keep it for such a short period of time you’re not going to lose money unless you pay too much for it in the first place
At that price point I’d get a 159 sportwagon still one of the best looking estates around.
However you’re probably best getting something more mass market so it’s easier to sell on quickly

Could always go for an a4 estate 3.0 tdi, reasonable running costs and quite nippy (decent gains from a remap too 245 to 300ish)

Thanks for the suggestions, leaning towards the A4 Avant but probably a petrol version as it looks like ULEZ in Bristol might come in force in October so would be harder to shift an older diesel..

Probably the worst car I’ve ever driven, didn’t feel like a 3.0 and the auto box was terrible. So many near misses at junctions and roundabouts when it couldn’t make up its mind what to do.

Horrible car.
