I’ve posted before about what I was looking for but I’ve had a good think about it and I don’t really need a fast sporty car, I’m currently driving a 1.0 ST-Line fiesta, which for the most part doesn’t have the speed to justify how uncomfortable it can be at times.

So I’m looking for a replacement, preferably well specced technologically but main preference is comfort, I’d like to aim for 7-8 seconds to 60 but I’m not too picky.

What first comes to mind? I drove a Fiesta Titanium hire car which was an improvement but I can probably do better.

Curious what you’d consider, budget could stretch for the right car

Edit: no kids or pets, no requirement for specific size

If you want to stay with a supermini then these three are highly spec'd good picks but if ride NVH are your big concerns then I'd be looking at something bigger.

Fiesta Vignale a bit over budget but haggling will get you close

DS3 Ultra Prestige

Clio Signature Nav

Now if you don't mind something that'll waft you along then the SLK200 makes a lot of sense:

As does it's E200 Coupe cousin no balls of fire but a very relaxing place to be:

That SLK looks lovely, I’ll definitely do a bit of research on them - are they known to be reliable?

I’ve looked at the Vignales, never driven one but they look great

Definitely some food for thought, I’m not set on a super mini I’m willing to consider anything

Both Mercedes are reliable & servicing costs are sensible too.
