Importing MGA to France

Got mga that is sold to someone in France , it’s on a Nova with all the duty paid before brexit . Could not pick up due to covid . Does anyone know what is the situation now , regarding customs in U.K. and France . The car is a none running restoration. The owner is British but lives in France .

He'll have to pay vat & duty in France, due to it's age he'll be on the reduced rate, it's 5 or 7% for France

If he's using a company to transport it, it will need customs clearance to leave UK & a French agent to sign off the t1. Costs depends on who you use but budget approx £150 UK side £250 frog side
