It is that time again, need to look at the next car, to replace the current A4 Avant.

Loved the A4, really nice car, with the exception of the annoying DBW delay!

I thought I had decided on the new 330e touring M Sport. seems to tick all the boxes, as I like an estate having two young ones. Plus the hybrid for reduced BIK.

However, boss threw a curveball saying I should probably look for full electric, as my commute isn't huge, and he may stretch a bit higher than £43k if it was full electric.

But I have also seen the new Land Rover Disco Sport PHEV thing, could this be a contender? Although only a tiny 1.5 engine, which seems odd, but puts out more power than the BMW.

Genuinely have no idea what to do now, there are almost to many options!

Tesla? There's another, I guess I don't really need an estate, just so used to having them!

Have you seen the boot space of a 330e (touring) in the flesh?
Coming from an A4 estate (490 litres) you will be losing out a lot as the hybrid has a raised boot floor only giving 375 litres in the 330e.
To me it seems rather small for holidays with 2 kids...

I think I'm in the same position as you. Current favourite is a V60 T6, which depending on your mileage comes in around £400-500pm through car wow.

The advantage of the Volvo seems to be all the electrical kit is kept away from the boot, so still reasonable boot space.

The Skoda Enyaq seems to tick your boxes if all Electric is for you

Or PHEV wise the T6 V60 is the pick if you need boot space
