New car purchase £10k

Similar to a few older threads on here but i'm in a situation where current lease car handback is looming. With the lack of deals on leases and the market in general at the moment, I need a car for my partner to fill the gap of her s60 going back next month.

Mileage is minimal 5-8k per year so not too fussed on economy or engine size.

99% of time spent with just one sole driver so size wise we were looking at anything from 3 door hatchbacks to 2 door coupes...

Current shortlist is incredibly varied but consists of:

- MK5 Golf gti
- MK6 Golf gti
- Suzuki Swift Sport
- SLK 350
- SL 500/ SL350 (she likes but unconvinced by ageing looks and potential ruinous repair costs)
- Nissan 350z/ 370z
- E92 335i
- Jag XK


So many options that i'm struggling to narrow down. Are there any others that i've missed?

Budget is £10k but could stretch to up to £12/13k for the right car..

instead of an e92 at 10k id be looking at a 2 series, nicer interior and a lot more modern and you can get yourself a nice 220i/d for that money, that or you can get yourself an m135i too just about.
you might even at a stretch get a 228/230i which would be my pick.
if you wanted something bigger you could get a 4 series too
