Vehicle details cannot be found?

I found a car which is a good price but when I go to check the vehicle history with auto trader and also my car check website it states that ‘ insufficient or no information can be found on this vehicle’.

There are also a few years of MOT that were missed. Does anyone have any helpful information on what might be occurring?

plate changes is one reason. Another is sometimes the plate is hard to see in the photos and you get a letter wrong. But if it's more than just a passing interest contact the seller and ask them for the reg. See what happens and ask them if it still doesn't come up.

Ask them to send a photo of the visible VIN in the windscreen.
