Best way into 10 or 12 cylinders for under £50k?

I'm thinking about making the jump to a V10 and V12 whilst I still can, before values skyrocket and these big engines are regulated out of reach.

At the moment, a DB9 seems to be top of the (small) shortlist but I thought I'd ask the PH collective what else I should be considering?

Budget up to £50k, although under £40k preferred with a yearly budget of £3k to run it but up to £6k if I really had to.
This will be a daily driver, so I need it to be relatively reliable.
Manual preferred but auto would be ok.
Needs to feel fairly special.
Not a 7 series, S class, RS6 etc. I'd want a coupe, convertible, sports car or possibly a "grand coupe" like a Rapide.
R8s don't appeal to me in the slightest.

I know there isn't much choice at that budget with those requirements but it's worth asking.

DB9 is a good shout, not sure you'll find a manual one for under £50k, but the auto is better and cheaper to run. DB7 Vantage also worth considering?

I think some brave pills are required for most V10s and V12s to some degree, but that more so.
