I'm considering a 120i - 170bhp, small, rwd, 4 doors ticks all my boxes, decided against the diesel as I do a lot of short trips and read about the cam chain tensioners

However reading up on the N43 they seem to have issues too

Realistically is a 90k FSH 120i likely to be reliable for another 20k

Simply put. No. Junk
They have massive issues with oil pressure. 90k is the end of its life

FFS - can't anyone make a reliable car any more

This is why the prices of the old crap I used to drive (328, 200SX etc) has gone through the roof

I ran one as a daily from 60k to 225k with no real problems. Nice daily, went ok.
