Low emission car salary sacrifice

The firm I work for isn’t the best on schemes and perks. One of the things I’m trying to get them to do is start the low emission vehicle salary sacrifice scheme, with no luck. Is there a way around this whereby I could approach a company that does such a scheme and independently undertake salary sacrifice with them? I can’t see me getting a company scheme anytime soon.

One question why? Surely if you're not having to use a company car scheme you can pick any low emission car you want?

Because he would have to fund it from taxed income, whereby on salary sacrifice, it's bought from untaxed income.

But no OP, you won't be able to incept such a scheme without your employer's backing and cooperation.
