Looking at paint options for the Mrs new VW
She likes "Ascot Grey", which is fine, apart from being unable to see it in the metal because it's a new colour option. I know they do it on the Transporter, but have none local to check out.
I see that Skoda do "Meteor Grey" and Audi offer "Quantum Grey", both of which look very similar - can anyone confirm that they are the same?

Paint sharing is still relatively rare amongst VAG products, but you can check using the 4 digit VAG paint code. This is pretty easily done by searching online for the name and "paint code". E.g. Dakota Grey, usually found on older Audis, is LY1P etc. Ascot Grey is LA7A.
