Buying a car is so hard 0_0

I literally know nothing about cars other than how to drive them and don't know anyone that is knowledgeable to help pick one..

I have been procrastinating over buying one for over a month now as every time I find one I like the look of it turns out according to other users with far greater knowledge on these things than me to be a banger or a rip off.

I am just looking to get a solid car for travelling to work and back and have up to 3k to spend. I'm in the Glasgow area and open to any real suggestions preferably delivery/drop off if possible as I would happily pay them when they drop it off.
