Car bought unseen.
Discussion
I've just bought my first Maserati.
Unseen, never driven one, never sat in one.
Ghibli S. 2016. Grey but looks bronze. Black leather, blood red stitching including the trident logo on the headrests.
Have to say the drive back from Scotland, Parks Maserati in Hamilton, Stephen Gray (superb service btw), was a joy. £32k.
The unseen part was partly down to there being nothing close to my part of Wiltshire but also there is a certain thrill which comes with risk.
Heck, what on earth could go wrong?
As it is a Maserati, the first electrical glitch was ready and waiting. The three phone charger plug thingys I bought from the services didn't fit! You have to wedge a piece of paper next to the charger to get a snug fit.
The loud pedal works. Sports exhaust sounds rude.
I know this is the buying thread, and I have bought but I thought it may be of use to let people know that risk is fun.
Would I do the same with anything but a main dealer car, but also one with one owner and they know the car from new? No.
It even gave me 30mpg at a steady 80mph on the way home.
