Anyone used Webuyanycar?

Do they answer their phones??All branches just seem to ring out and want you to leave a number?I'm selling a car for a friend whose daughter has passed away. The granddaughter who is getting the proceeds of the sale was getting excited because of what they offered her online.
Do their offers bare any semblance to the reality of what they actually give you? Thanks.

I used them a few years ago and was an easy process. They will always chip away at the online quote but it depends how honest you have been when providing them the information. Do their offers bare any semblance to the reality of what they actually give you? Thanks.
I was upfront on any damage, service history etc. They only picked up on 2 marks I missed, but overall was fine. Easy transaction.
The bard reports tend to be people that have said the car was perfect, turn up and its a mess.
Can you not just book online? Do you need to call?
Sold our MINI JCW via the Weymouth branch earlier this year. Utterly painless, chipped us a few hundred for wheel damage that we hadn't declared, and that was that. In and out in about 30 mins, the cash was in the bank 5 days later (you can pay a fee to expedite it but we weren't in a rush), and we received confirmation of the settlement from the finance company around the same time. Absolutely painless and very professional.
The MINI dealer we bought the car from initially couldn't get within £2k of WBAC's bid.

I sold my X3M to them in June. They offered silly money for it online so I thought it was worth a try. It was mint but had a couple of small stone chips at the front. They guy literally looked at it for about a minute and said yep it’s immaculate. He did knock off about £300 for the stone chips as that was the going rate at BMW apparently, plus the £75 admin fee. I was more than happy with that.
Yep, a couple of times. Both occasions they applied the "Chip tax" reducing the price, think they tried to reduce it by £375 for the MX-5 due to light kerbing to 3 wheels, I said if I could get them done for £100 a corner I'm sure they could get it done even cheaper. In the end the price was reduced by roughly a £100. We walked away happy both times. If you're happy with their price then it's a fairly quick and easy process.
Once a few years ago on a 4yr old Fiesta. They offered more than I had paid 9 months previously. (I had bought the car after a really cheap lease deal through my work at the time.
They did the usual stone chip price knock and I said I want £, or no deal. He made a phone call and they agreed.
If they want the car there may be some room for negotiation, don't necessarily accept the 1st offer.

Cazoo have been offering more than WBAC
As have Motorway, I can't remember the exact amount I got compared to my WBAC quote but a good deal more and there was no hassle either, the buyer just turned up, transferred the money and took the car.My niece and sister have both used them and been hapy with what they got, but both cars were tired old ones. Biggest bonus was not having to advertise and get messed about dealing with people not turning up or wanting them for nothing!
But for a decent car I'd probably try Motorway and Cazoo as well.

WBAC was utterly painless for me, but they called me after I booked online.
Motorway was a joke. I couldn’t get the car listed with them despite my best efforts. Wizzle led to low offers. Cazoo offering the most but I only found out too late.
Good point above about the V5. Check that out.
