I’m on the hunt for a full sized 2 door SWB 4x4 and have saved searches for the following. What others are out there that I should be thinking about? Budget around 10k.

Toyota Lancruiser/Prado
Mitsubishi Pajero
Nissan Patrol
Defender 90
Daihatsu Sportrak

Anybody have any obvious omissions?

Suzuki jimny Might be a bit small. Do you need the 4 seats? Would a pick up work? You could look at crew cabs or single cabs?

Ideally 4 seats I think as I’ll use this for all kinds of tasks.

Jimny a little small and don’t really want a vitara (did they do a 2 door hardtop?)

Isuzu I didn’t realise they did in 2 door. Just don’t suggest a frontera!

Freelander (1) - mostly broken but 3 door at least
Early Range Rover (not likely in budget!)
Discovery 1 - may be some left, not a bad old thing if you can weld
Jeep Wrangler
Ford Bronco and Chevy Blazer if old LHD lumps count

Hang on a moment, that's a great shout. They have a 1.6 in them but would be a lovely candidate for a turbo conversion,,,,,

You can’t go far wrong with the first two on your list.

I’ve got a Landcruiser Prado/Colorado SWB and it’s been great and very reliable, the Shogun is good too and a bit easier to find one.
