15k Leon curpa st replacement
Discussion
Hi folks, my Leon cupra st lease is going back at the start of march (might extend by 3 months if I do t find a replacement before).
I've enjoyed the power and 4drive sure footedness of the cupra so fancy something with a similar pace. I have 2 kids that occasionally need to be in the car, so 4 seats are a must. I also need to be able to fit my portable massage table in the back (rough idea of folded dimensions: Massage Table Folded Size (L x W x H): 93 cm length x 70 cm height x 17 cm depth). I think this will probably rule out the 135i, but will need to check.
Current front runner is the insignia vxr. Also considering
Infiniti m35h, monaro and maybe Impreza WRX. Ideally I'd prefer under 60k and 2010 onwards, but happy to bow to superior knowledge if these numbers don't make sense. It will be my daily doing roughly 10k a year (maybe a touch less). Thanks in advance

The Insignia would get my vote you'll get a nice low mileage one for your budget:

The M35h is a good car & you should be able to get one for less than your budget, there's also the Q50h Sport:

I'm in a similar position with a Cupra 290 (hatchback) on lease which is due to be returned in June. It's my second one and therefore my 4th year of Cupra ownership. My initial plan was to replace it with a daily for up to £15k and then run this alongside an MX5, however I seem to spend most evenings searching and just cannot get excited about much at the £15k bracket. I too would like similar pace and something that is still interesting.
In my opinion, I feel that I have to compromise somewhere at £15k, either getting something newer but with stupidly high miles, or something older which usually means a dated interior (I'd put a lot of the german stuff in this bracket, especially Audi who didn't seem to change interior style for years!). Searching up to £20k opens up a lot more options so I'm tempted to postpone the MX5 purchase and just spend more on the daily.
At the £15k budget, and in case it gives you ideas, I was considering things such as Focus ST3, Megane RS Cup (3 doors not ideal for me), Giulietta QV / Veloce, A3 Saloon 1.8 TFSI. (Alfa QV probably the favourite at the moment)
