Motorway, Wizzle who else?

I used a company called We Want Any Car who I found throguh putting my car on Wizzle and can't fault them at all, put all the details in, photos etc and they gave me a value, didn't knock me down at all but best of all came to my house to view the car and buy it.
They then paid on the spot via bank transfer and left the car on the road outside my house and 24 hours later someone came with the keys and drove it away and job done, i've also used WBAC and they were fine with me but i'd use We Want Any Car next time just because I didn't have to leave my driveway for it.

Depends what you are selling, if a bit rare and odd then these sites don't often understand true mkt value and therefore something like Collecting cars might work better.

Just bailed out on my VW Golf sold via Motorway. When deciding which online buyer to go with there approx price seemed higher than say WBAC who were £1.5k out on initial valuation. So went with Motorway went to Auction but did not reach the potential valuation they originally quoted so I flatly rejected this. Lo and behold they said would put in auction the next day and surprise surprise it went for over valuation not by much but enough for me to sell the car. Maybe I am being cynical but do wonder if these companies hope you will accept their first offer and hope your are desperate to sell, glad I rejected there firs offer.
Other than that Motorway have been very good and would highly recommend.

I sold 2 cars through Wizzle last year. Tried a couple of other sites, Wizzle came out on top both times. One car went direct to a marque main dealer, the other went to a smaller buying group.
You might be better waiting a month or so though, as the market seems to be pretty slow right now. My local Ford/Fiat/Mazda main dealer is advertising most of the stock at several hundred pounds off, and has just cut their finance rate almost in half, in an effort to boost sales.

It has a dent / scratch on the rear Quarter.
I am assuming if the boys at the end of the road can repair for £250, its a better investment than the chip that any buying will try and go for.
They all just move the cars on I assume and don't want to fettle any?

I think most dealers would want it as is, and get it fixed themselves (needless to say they will knock something of the value)It has a dent / scratch on the rear Quarter.

However unless its up to their standards, they might be worried my the fresh paint, I know when I took a car to WBAC they checked all the panels with paint depth gauge.

I ended up selling my BMW back to my local main dealer. After I asked for the finance settlement figure they contacted me and asked if I was thinking of selling. They then gave me £1000 more than WBAC etc.
Took it in to them and they paid me exactly what they said they would before seeing it.

I sold via Wizzle. Who got the best price and a local dealership. Also called me a few times to keep me in the loop.

I would highly rate selliton, a lot more personal than the others and matched the best price. But I had already sold at this point.
