I can’t see past a C7 RS6

I need a big family wagon. I have an 18 month old girl and another on the way so will need plenty of room in the back for rear facing car seats and a huge boot.
I’m dropping down from 2 cars to one and want something that’s a exciting when I get the opportunity to push on.
I’ve been looking at this which seems good value and decent spec baring the sports seats.

Any advice on this particular car? Any current RS6 owners?
Is there something else I should consider instead of the Audi?

Another competitor and if im honest Mercedes V8s are one of the best noises bar a American V8.
Plus they respond to remaps pretty damn well.
Theres a few 33k onwards and allows you to have change spare too

I'd take the merc over the audi any day, personally i prefer the S6 over the RS6 as its more than quick enough and doesn't stand out as much as the RS6
Not gonna lie I’m the opposite I like a car to stand out. That’s the problem with the Merc for me it looks a little too ordinary.

Then just settle it after 6 months if you don't need it.

As already mentioned check the brakes, we had to change a set on an RS7 and it was around £1500 for front and rear discs and pads.

I had a C7 S6 from new for 4.5 years. Sold last November only becuase of the tax advantages of an EV through my business, other wise I'd still have it.It's on that thread - it's the orange one, you can't miss it. They are comfortable, hilariously fast and carry loads. They aren't involving though and they are heavy old hectors.
If you must go RS (rather then S) it's realistically one of these or an E63. There isn't much else unless you're into Alpina B5 Touring money,
It really depends how much the budget is and what load volume you need. The RS4 or C63 are alternatives.

Thanks for sharing. As it’s an only car the 4 wheel drive system does appeal over the rear wheel drive Merc. My budget is about 45k so I’m looking at the lower end of the market for the C7.
