2009 s max

Looking at a 2009 Ford s max tomorrow auto diesel.

Any common faults to look out for? Anything to test in particular?

Powershift gearbox probably the weakest point

Make sure it changes through ALL the gears and pulls away without juddering.

People slate them, but for context i did 110000 miles in mine and it worked fine (albeit with regular gearbox oil changes!)

all 7 "private sale" S-max's i saw this week were all driveway traders. cars completely corroded, missing keys and missing logbooks, doesn't really seem to be any genuine private sellers of s-maxs.
