1999 Mercedes S320 petrol W220 general durability

That particular S320 I’m looking to buy has done only motorway/highway miles. Current reading is 166,000 miles.
I know that better ones are from 2003, but sadly budget constraints won't allow it. Problems with rust and electronics are known to me.
I've had Audi A6, BMW 5 in the past, so BMW 7 or Audi A8 are not on the radar. Lexus LS400 is too bland. Doesn't excite me at all.
How long the gearbox/transmission can last without needing the major overhaul?
Same for the air suspension?
Is that particular engine good for LPG?
How about the chain?
