Seeing as the spec and age of the car I'm looking to buy is only slightly less, and in some cases, more than the new price, I'm considering ordering new instead, even though I'll have to wait, as I can manage in the meantime, and It will financially be a better option.

What is the best place these days for the biggest discount? I know that discounts are small anyway, but is carwow still worth using or should I look at alternative options?

Thanks

Broadspeed and Drive the Deal are worth a look especially for discounts on VW Audi marques and Mercedes.

Drive the Deal, Broadspeed, Coast2Coast and CarWow are the main places to look

The last 2 cars I've ordered for the wife (both VW's), I've found the best price online from the above, the best PX price from WBAC/AC/EH etc and spoke to a VW dealer I know via a trade contact to see if they can match. It's a 200 mile round trip for collection, but I'd rather deal with someone who is counting on their commission than a broker who doesn't really care.

Thanks for all the advice

I got a 2% discount through Carwow, same car through Drive the deal is more than 4% off, so taking that to the dealer I've been working with through Carwow as they have been helpful, see what they can do

For BMW, I think Tony Lewis is pretty hard to beat (and he works out of a main dealership too).

Ah yes I've contacted him when I was thinking of getting a BMW previously, he is good. It's an RS6 this time though so C2C definitely are the best so far

Drive the Deal, Broadspeed, CarWow as mentioned.

Also try Coast2Coast, broker4cars and if you have family in NHS/Miltary, motorsourcegroup. Also if NHS or Military then BMW via Park Lane do good deals.

If you have a friend who has(and is a member) or if you have previously worked for Public Sector you can join Boundless who also give discount via https://www.griffintaxfree.com/boundless/.

100% this if anyone's looking for a BMW. Dealt with him twice now, easily the best and most honest dealer I've dealt with.

Mainly deals with M and M-lite vehicles though from what I understand, looks like he's moving into the electric ones soon potentially.

And no, I don't get comission laugh
