Selling to WBAC if not registered keeper

On the face of it a simple situation.
My wife’s mother (my MIL) has given up driving. She wants us to sell her car for her. My wife has Power of Attorney. WBAC have offered a decent amount, subject to knock-downs for stuff, which is all understood. The V5 is in my MIL’s name.
If my wife turns up with the car, the V5 in her mother’s name, the Power of Attorney paperwork and the service history/keys etc, how big a sh*tfest will the discussion be? I never underestimate the power of the UK to put bureaucracy in the way of getting stuff done!
Anyone done similar? The other option is to transfer the V5 to my wife first but that adds another owner unnecessarily.
Not a lot of money at stake - 59 plate Honda CRV.

Can I sell on behalf of a family member or friend?
Yes you can and the following documentation will be required to complete the sale;
Original Photo ID for the registered keeper (Passport/Driving License)
A proof of address for the registered keeper dated within the last nine months (this must match the address on the V5 - utility bill/bank statement)
Letter/Email of authority from the registered keeper stating that they wish to sell the vehicle and naming the person bringing the car for sale as being authorised to conclude the sale. Alternatively, a copy of the Power of Attorney document naming the person bringing the car for sale as Power of Attorney
The payment must be to the registered keepers UK bank account, so proof of the account details should be provided (bank statement/paying in book).
Finally photo ID for the person bringing the car.

Alternatively, why not take your MIL with you???? You might get 50 quid for her too! ;-;)
