Stupid Shortlist. Gas guzzler vs EV
Discussion
Bizarre shortlist in that I like the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Veloce petrol 280hp and the Ford Mustang Mach-E (probably not extended range money).
Likely new, enough £k down to be <£500 monthly.
Car will be mine, work will effectively pay my fuel cost or I would charge the EV at work (no plans for a charger at home). I'm office based, longer journeys on occasion.
If fuel/charging costs aren't an issue is there a big argument for one over the other? Obviously some will find both hideous.

If you've taken fuel costs out of the equation.... then yes.
First there's the convenience of almost never needing to visit a petrol station... it's time out of your day/journey you won't have to spend.
Then there's the tech, while on a B road the driver assistance is a pain, on a motorway they can be quite useful.
And finally the way an EV drives, one pedal, instant torque and no gear changes leads to a very nice ride.
Even on equal price parity, I'd take an EV.
