Hi I’m a part time car dealer and I’m looking for an api that tracks the best selling cars, average prices over a customisable period of time?

Is this something that’s already been developed or would i have to pay someone to make it.

Thanks

A virtually identical question was asked on the business part of this forum HERE about a month ago.

Are you the same person, with a duplicate account?

The Autotrader dealer portal already l gives the dealer loads of statistics and comparisons, it tells the dealer the best selling make and model in certain locations even colours and gives current price indicators, how long in stock and any previous prices and reductions Etc.

It does but it’s not that customisable, for example you can’t scout a specific price range, age or mileage etc

I think Cazoo have moved into this market (car sales data and valuations). Might not be public, but they are definitely offering this B2B. I think they archive all ads as well by reg, like zoopla for cars.

I think they bought out the company that used to own / run Cazana late last year / early this year. That used to be a fairly useful site for finding archived ads of cars from the usual retail sites.

Try to access the old Cazana website address now, and it now redirects / forwards to https://www.data.cazoo.co.uk/ offering the services noted above.

Makes sense - currently trying to flog their wares in the insurance space, which is where I came across them.
