Unable to do a history check. Can anyone help?

Hoping for a favour if possible…
I’m hoping to buy a used Macan privately in the next few days. I’ve been trying to run a check on HW66LWP (using VCheck) but it’s not returning anything even though the initial info confirms it is a Macan but then why I try to pay it says the registration is not linked to a car. I can do an MOT check with correct results.
I’ve also tried RAC which also failed to return anything on that registration.The vendor has managed to get one from a Sytner dealer but I feel I should be doing my own due diligence.
The registration was on a private plate until a week or so ago.
The car looks great and all other paperwork is in order.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

It's normal, it takes a while for everything to update when a private plate comes off. I've had cars that came off private plates that took weeks to update. If you have the private reg then you can run the check on that. I just checked and it's showing up on Vcheck for me so may be worth trying again now

Vcheck finds it but when you go to pay for the full check it says the registration isn’t linked to a car.DeuceDeuce said:
