Hello ladies and gentlemen,

I have been a long lurker of the forum and have decided to join for some suggestions into my next car. I have just sold my car after a short term ownership due to it having a couple of issues.

As we are in the cost of living crisis I have decided this time to go for a cheaper car for now. It’s more of a stop gap car until I decide what I actually want next. I’m also intrigued to see what happens to the car market over the next year.

The criteria:
- Euro compliant is a must as I need to travel into Glasgow for work and of course my workplace is within the zone
- 5 door
- No Vauxhalls or anything Italian unfortunately

I have a budget of £4000 for this vehicle. I can flex a little bit for the correct motor maybe to £5000.

Any suggestions ?
