Trying to sell my car, when dealers search it they get a high mileage diesel instead of my low mileage petrol.
I’ve checked it with VW, the Dvla and dvsa all 3 agree no problem.
I think Auto trader have the wrong info, any ideas on how to get it corrected?

Sell to someone with the correct info?

Even worth contacting second hand dealers directly, many are still short of stock.

Dealers are using data from auto trader and its that data that’s wrong, they use it instead of an HPI check.
Auto trader say they get there data from Experian. Two hours on hold so far today.

All dealers will do a hpi check on your car, You manually have to input the mileage to get a value so im not sure why or how you think autotrader or HPI would bring up a high mileage diesel.

Whats your reg and mileage ill do a HPI Check
