Suitable replacement for my VW Golf TDI?

I'm looking to replace my VW Golf 1.9 TDI and I want to purchase from a garage/trade with a max price of £7k. Ideally looking for a petrol and something cheaper to run.

I was wondering what people think of this Swift - https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202208178... I drove it and its seems nice but I can't image how it would feel at speeds of 70+mph on a motorway. I take short motorway trips.

The Leon is cheaper and not that much older so that appeals to me. Should the extra mileage concern me? Is it fair to assume that the Leon would be much more comfortable?

Out of those I'd get the Leon. I had a 2013 Ibiza which I covered 54,000 miles in just under three years in, it was perfectly comfortable and felt more refined than a Fiesta/Corsa/Clio or similar.
