Hello all,

While I wait 'n' months (where n = an eternity) for an EV through work I need a car as the 1 car setup isn't working well at the moment.

I honestly don't mind what it is as long as it has a low chance of blowing up in the next 12 months but needs to fit a car seat and a big dog in the back at the same time.

Something sensible like a Honda Accord

Or something 'interesting' like;

Jaguar XF / Jaguar XF / Jaguar XF

E Class / E Class

V70 T6

Lexus IS 250 / Lexus IS 250

Get the SV8 if you can afford the fuel bills. That 3.0 is the poverty spec slower one and the 2.2d is supposed to be a bit rattly and unrefined.

I have no real opinion on the other cars other than to say the seats in my wife's Volvo are more comfortable than the ones in my Jag.
