Morgan 3-wheeler or Caterham 7?

Torn between the 2, and can't justify both.

Which one of those 2 would you get?

What would you want to use it for?

For track: Caterham every time.

For road tourring, I think that the Morgan could be more fun.

I have owned a Westfield and sat in all mannner of Seven’s over the years with no issue. But, I am 5’6” and I can barely see over the scuttle of a three wheeler

When it comes down to two cars, then a test drive of both will settle which way you go.

Caterham 7, no contest- although I've had two already.

Don't know what the Morgan does that the Caterham doesn't.

you can get the 3 wheelers moving around the road, without the skill of a Motogp rider. they're a bit more fun I think.

I had 5,000 miles of fun in my first Caterham on academy tyres. Can confirm they ‘move’!

You should be fine in both, but sitting in the is a good idea

I'd go Caterham, mainly because I'd be more sure of being able to sell it future. The market won't be massive for either but I suspect the 3 wheeler is a very niche audience

I've had a few Morgans and have one at the moment - and have driven a few 3 wheelers.

Get the Caterham.

The M3W is great fun, but it's not very usable to be honest - a bathtub with a big engine. Also they've had a few problems - more than a few actually.

The Caterham will be just as impractical, but actually a little more drivable.

Caterhams, Elises and MX5s are driver's cars.
M3W, trad Morgans, 2CVs are wonderful experiences for a drive in the sun. you enjoy open air motoring in these, whereas in the Caterham you're too busy to notice.
