£100K Something 'Special'

Just thought i'd throw this out to you lot for some inspired feedback

Two-Seats
Convertible
No trackday-esque cars. It needs to be comfortable enough for some longer trips with SWMBO
Great sound
Something 'special' (subjective, i know, but nothing too mainstream)

Likely to be a long-term keeper

To give you a pointer, i'm currently hung-up on a V12VS Roadster, but i'm wondering if there's anything i'm missing and not considering?

At £100k, I'd buy a 650 Spider.

Might not meet the sound requirement I suppose, although with a sports exhaust they're not bad - albeit a long way from a Vantage/ NA Ferrari / Lambo.
But it ticks the other boxes. Most comfortable car I've owned, even including things like a Cayenne.

I’ve not had the roadster but had the coupe V12S - will certainly tick a lot of your boxes and in particular comfort , noise ( which can be even louder should you wish ) and space for touring.
Maybe worth looking at a Vanquish 2 as well ?
Astons may / will have niggles but pretty robust generally.
That said also could be worth a drive in a R8 V10 Spyder - only downsides are you don’t get to see that engine and space is limited. I have the coupe version and it does everything well with the exception perhaps of noise inside due to great Audi noise insulation.
Have fun deciding / testing.

I totally love how headturning they are for definite. As you say...a drive in one could change my perception of them driving/engine/battery wise too.
