Hot hatch for a dog - budget of £10K.

I have a 350Z atm,but need something a bit bigger as weve just got a dog - im looking at a quick hot hatch,with some room in the back - looks good,quick,reliable - all at a budget of £10K.

Any recommendations?

Not sure if two cars are an option, but if so could you keep your current car and buy something like this for when you need to take the dog out and about?

Several options under £2K, albeit majority 15+ years old and high mileage but shouldn't matter too much if just occaisional use.

I did similar a couple of years back and bought a Seat Exeo (small estate version) for when we need to travel with the dog.

No idea what size your hound is but can't see anything medium+ size being too comfortable in a hatch.

Hammock on the back seats. We get two 35kg+ dogs in the back seats of a Golf Alltrack. Also the boot is then left free for luggage when going on holiday.

Never heard of those before.

Suppose it depends what the back seats are like, if it is a 2+2 then likely the rear seat will be in "dips" with a raised part between.

Are the focus good reliability?

Id probably have the back seats down all the time for more space hehe. Its a medium side husky.
