What's in your garage?

So for me, this would be:

Daily driver: £22,849

I've currently got a Caravelle, which I love, but in all reality, never use all the seats, the rail is handy to adjust but once it's set your done. Given the chance, a sportline would be for me. I'd get shot of the bulkhead to have the back open.

I wouldn’t bother with the workhorse for the rare (or if I’m really thinking about it, practically non existent) occasion I might go to the tip. Or a mattress which would be delivered by a van anyway.

Family hauler, I’d go Volvo V60/V90 for about £30k

Something classic for weekends, 60s Mustang, TVR or a Morgan would be kinda cool, £25k

A daily driver for me, occasional track/drift day toy and that’s also a bit interesting but has semi-usable back seats as a very occasional family car, V8 Mustang/M2 probably, £30k

If the workhorse is a must, swap out the classic weekender for an imported F150 or Ram something or other. Don’t do diesels.

Hmmm I didn’t consider bikes….

That being said, I never got on with it, spent two years rebuilding a CBR600F and just didn’t use it.

Would love a cbr954 and a triumph speed master 1200…even if just to look at

I’d spend it all on a McLaren 570S, assuming I can keep my existing fleet of four.

I’ve been considering selling three of our current four and doing the above, I’d be killed by the wife, but still.

If I absolutely had to buy multiple vehicles with the cash then I’m happy with the ones we have now:

VW Passat GTE Advance Estate for the workhorse.
Tesla Model 3 for the daily.
BMW 440i convertible for family weekend jaunts.
MK1 Audi TT 3.2V6 convertible for jaunts without the kids.

A and B would be the same car for me to be honest.. But if I had £85k right now for a realistic garage, I'd probably go:

1. Fun car - 911 (997.2) C2 GTS manual - ~£65k:

1. Daily runaround - VW Up GTi - ~£12.5k:

1. Bike - Triumph Street Triple R - ~£7.5k:

That'd genuinely cover 99% of my usage / requirements...

Daily - something small and probably electric for nipping round town without worrying about fuel, maybe the electric MINI or Honda-e as they look coolish.

Workhorse - Mercedes E Class estate, mid-range E43 type powertrain - plenty of power but not silly E63 levels. Boot liner for trips to the tip and hourly rental of a van from Costco for anything that doesn't fit in the boot.

Weekend - Lexus RCF pretty much the last naturally aspirated big engined coupe you can buy (that's not a Corvette or Mustang) - also won't go wrong or refuse to start if you've not used it for a couple of weeks.

Better (AKA newer/faster/nicer) versions of my current stuff:

Family bus/commuter/bike-wagon - Yeti 2.0 TDi -> BMW 340i or X3, etc (though i love my Yeti!)
Fun car - Clio 200 -> Actually, i'd probably keep it
Track car - MK Indy ZX10R -> Exige V6
Winter/commuter/tourer bike - Varadero 1000 -> BMW 1250 GS (though it would get trashed)
Fun bike - S1000R -> Acually, i'd keep that too
