With the ever increasing price of well, everything. What cars are current bargains relative to bang / buck?
Evo 7 / 8
Impreza - any turbo model
R32's
E46 M3's
Golf Mk6 R
EP3 Type R's
etc etc
All these and their counterparts are on the increase, some for a while.
So what cars will we look back on in the next 10 / 15yrs and think, damn. I should have bought one / kept one.

I think the FN2 Type R GT is a bit of a current bargain. Very often overlooked and certainly not without its critics but you can get a 2010 with the LSD and lowish miles for 6-7k and prices seem to be increasing for good ones.
Everyone loves the k20 engine and we all know there will never be another like it. The FN2 is the newest car you can have with it.

Suzuki Swift Sports were cheap when new so even with 'holding their value' you get plenty of car for not much money and are lightweight and manual which will be prized once everything is heavy and electric.
My other tip for the top is anything that is manual and more than 4 cylinders, as you can barely buy anything in that configuration currently, let alone in the future.

I am biased so I will say M156 V8 AMG benz especially low mileage c63 coupe - end of era
late model WRX /EVO seems good value and with the rise of the hyper-hatch I think they will be looked back on fondly as 'end of an era' cars

Agree with pretty much all the above. A couple of other thoughts;
E90 M3, the only V8 M3 and the last normally aspirated one, should follow the E46 up the value curve I think.
350Z are good value for the performance from £5k, still fairly cheap and unlike a lot of cars mentioned, don't tend to cost a bomb to keep on the road.
