Advertising a car that's on PCP?
Discussion
Hi,
Thinking to selling the car privately.
It's currently on PCP. I want to make it very clear in the ad that it is on PCP and that finance will be settled once there's a legit buyer.
Is this good from a legal perspective or does finance need to be settled first before even advertising the car?
Thanks

In my experience the finance company have always let the buyer pay them direct but if not then then it’s either clear it yourself beforehand or after their buyer pays you (if they are happy to do that). I’ve been on both sides as buyer and seller and never had an issue. Thinking to selling the car privately.
