Coupes you can fit a bike into?

Just wondering if anyone knows if the Audi TT is the only small coupe than can fit a bike in the back.
I'm looking to downsize (from a Leon estate) to something a bit more fun but would like to fit a bike in rather than on the car.
Maybe a coupe is a step too far and I should get a small hatchback instead.
Looking at spending around 18k.

probably too old for what you're looking for, but a friend and I had these when we used to go MTBing c.10 years ago. No need to remove wheels if it's just one bike in either; the Celica (assuming FF) has the deeper boot, really spacious and can take two with front wheels removed.

Ones that don't really work:
- RX-7 (too small, brace in the way)
- 350Z (brace gets in the way)

If you are happy to take wheels off then you might be able to use a GT86 as the seats fold but the boot opening is somewhat small.

A5/S5 if you take the front wheel off and put the back seats down. Not small or massively fun though

If you regularly carry a bike I'd say you're better off with a small hatch and folding rear seats.

Alfa GT has a huge boot, loads of room for a bike and kit especially with the seats down. Loved the two I had.

Certainly some options there.
The GT86 looks great and surprisingly affordable.

3 door hatch or coupe? If you squint there's a fair similarity, especially with the VXR.

Might have to go and see few of the cars in the flesh and hope I don't have an attack of sensibleness...

I suppose a large part of your choice depends on what you use your bike for.

If it's just for a bit of casual cycling when you reach your destination, then you can get a decent folder and buy practically any car you like, so I guess it's a case of where you want to compromise most, the car or the bike.

Also thinking outside of the box, cars like the Mercedes C- or E- coupes can be fitted with towbars so you easily hang a bike carrier off the back if you wish.

A 27.5 long travel burly hard tail fits very easily in a 2 series. I can also fit it straight in a F56 MINI incidentally, courtesy of the 170mm dropper that locks onto the ceiling and perfectly secures the bike.

Also, to make life easier with your mountain bike - go for an old skool/retro 26er MTB with QR wheels and as small a frame as you can fit, they are much smaller and easier to fit in the back of the car, as well as being lighter and better to ride

They certainly were good fun 15 years ago. I wouldn't go back to them though.

Z4 coupe possible, not in an M though as that has the battery in the boot taking up quite a lot of space.
