My parents have just bought a car - my dad sent a deposit and the advert was pulled from the site. They picked it up today but he thinks they've over charged.

The original listing was on this link https://www.dicklovett.co.uk/bmw/used-cars/2017-bm...

Tried the way back machine but no joy.

Is there any way to see the original listing? I can't find it on autotrader either.

1: Look at car.

2: Decide car is the one.

3: Pay for car.

Negotiation takes place at step 2, not after step 3.

Tell him to enjoy what looks like a nice car. After all, he's already bought it and there's no discount whatsoever coming on it now.

I think you are misunderstanding the situation.

I read it as the dealer have overcharged for the remaining balance on the advertised price of the car.

I'm sure if something doesn't tally it'll be easy to sort especially with this particular dealer as their reputation is good..
