With ULEZ zone expanding I imagine people will be getting rid of their non compliant cars in the near future. What would be some really interesting non compliant cars that you could potentially get a bargain on for those of us that don't require compliant cars (yet!)

Practically nothing as the arse end of the market is up so much. Euro 3 petrols are no longer cheap, plenty of E5 derv at silly money if sub 10k.

When is the best time to buy one? A few months in when the novelty of paying £15 a day has worn off? It's hard to know how much this is already priced in to the market

This is an interesting topic.

I want to buy a cheap daily for commuting to work. I'm fed up with ruining my M2 and Clio RS200 Cup on our crap, pot-holed roads.

I live in the sticks, so a 4x4 would be handy. I'd love a 2005/2006 BMW x5 30d, but I haven't found any cheap ones yet. I keep looking for adverts in the London area, but nothing has cropped up yet.

I'm going to hold out for a few more weeks, but I expected the non ULEZ cars to be dirt cheap already
