Jag XF 3.0S alternatives

I've been looking for a new (to me) car for a few weeks and like the look of the Jag. I need something comfortable for long runs, good to drive whilst not needing to be a sports car, with a bit of power and reasonable mpg. Budget up to about £14000. I have a Freelander 2 which is staying so don't want an estate.

I don't want anything too old so post 2012 and under 100k miles (would need to be cheaper at this mileage too).

Alternatives ?

I'm thinking E350 Coupe or 640d. Anything else to consider ?

Be careful of the 3.0 diesel engines in JLR vehicles. It was a Ford & PSA partnership & has a weak crankshaft which is prone to snapping = ££££££

From what I've heard the VAG 3.0 diesels are the most robust so maybe consider something with those engines.
