Suggest a midlife crisis car which doesn't shout midlife!

Being middle-aged, I am now in the crisis phase of my life and clutching desperately onto youthful thoughts, having done the motorbike part of this, I am now onto the car part. Does anyone have any suggestions for a great midlife car ...but doesn't shout look at him having a midlife crisis???

Hmm, you are playing into the ageist agenda there, we arent here that long so just buy what you fancy, when you want it.
Loads of men get to their middle years after years of providing and having to have sensible wheels to cart offspring round in, then treat themselves to something sporty and it gets labelled as a "Mid life crisis", need to ask yourself, had you been able would you have done this earlier ?
We dont fundamentally change mentally, im 52 but still feel like 20 odd in my head, not sure why people think I should buy some grey 1.6 diesel estate and then a Honda Jazz, f

Need to know a budget, I got a bright red 944 Cabriolet at 44, which screams MLC to those that think like that, didnt care, was fun.

Given the lack of any other posited criteria, it appears OP is searching for something that offers a superficial, accessible level of gratification. And yet whose gratification is non-obvious to others.
A car with more substance than style then. But this contradicts the essence of a 'mid life crisis car', at least as far as the the typical interpretation of 'mid-life crisis car' goes.
I would suggest for example that a Suzuki Swift Sport, or a JDM Subaru Legacy twin-turbo, or a V10 Audi S6, are all examples of cars that go unnoticed by the general population yet offer something for the enthusiast.
Whether they fulfil OP's criteria, however, is anyone's guess.

I find the mid life crisis thing interesting as well. I got the Cerbera at 33 and I never got any of the mid life crisis jibes(I did get "that is your Dad's car" jibe once though), however the Z4M Roadster that replaced it when I was 39 I got mid life crisis jibes left, right and centre in comparison though. Maybe it is the Convertibles/Roadsters that come in for more flak regarding this?

I'm old enough to have the time and money to get what I actually want, and still 'young' (flexible) enough to get in and enjoy it. It's THE time, the perfect time.....its all down to your personality...if you're a clam risk averse saver type, then an Orange Lambo might well jarr.... but if you're not...then a bright and/or fun car just adds joy to your life!
What midlife crisis, I'm 62 (nearly) 63 and run around in a Mazda MX5 ND Recaro Sport as my daily/only car and got 'back into' bikes in 2001 at 41 years young and am currently running a 2021 Kawasaki 1000sx Ninja which went to the Alps last year and is currently going to Scotland for 5 days end of April and 9 days across to Austria in July (so far planned).
As others have said just do it because you can, we are no here for the long time so enjoy what you have.
