G30 5 series

As a long time leaser, my plan had been to get a cheap runaround until some good lease deals materialised. As it seems like I’ll be waiting a while, I’ve decided to increase my budget to get something decent in the meantime.

Requirements are reliable, decent acceleration, and comfortable for driver and passengers on longer distances. No more than £30k.

I’ve been looking at the G30 5 Series. A local(ish) main dealer has a 2019 B47 520D on 25k miles at a decent price.

I can also see some B57 530Ds further afield. All 2019/2020 models.

Are there any common issues with either of these which could cause headaches?

No, it seems to be a fairly solid car so far. My Dad had one around 5 years and it never gave any issues. Great car.

Icon LEDs are an option worth seeking out.
