Stick or Twist? What Next?
Discussion
Seeking the forum's thoughts.
I've got a 2018 Arteon BiTDI 4 M R Line. 50k on it. Got it 18 months back and have put 10k on it. Its got full history, DSG and 4M have been serviced and the timing belt and pump have been done. It will need front pads.
Funded it via part cash part bank loan and have around £9k cash in it based on current offers and loan balance.
But as someone who's had 18 cars in 23 years.... I've itchy feet.
So my car buying dilemma is stick or twist? If I twist I'd want something newer, approved used with a fat warranty like the VW and a screen price of less than £30k. I could go higher but I'd want to do PCP at that level and keep as much cash back and keep the payment down...
I'd need something with similar space as we have a young toddler with a massive pram, big car seat and all that comes with taking one on a weekend away etc. I also want decent tech and Android Auto - its 2023 and I like my gadgets!
I've looked online at the A6 Avant , 3 series touring, Cupra Ateca and even the new Dacia Jogger auto but nothing has really jumped out within price range that's comparable to the Arty for spec.
I'm even considering a 2018/19 estate like a Mondeo and firing the extra cash back into the bank.
Recommendations and suggestions welcome!
